7 natural ways to withen teeth at home

1. Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxid
Mix a small amount of hydrogen peroxide with a small amount of baking soda to make a paste. Brush your teeth as usual, making sure you brush those back teeth too. Hydrogen peroxide is an anti-bacterial agent and works great as a total mouth and gum cleaner and keeps the mouth free of germs.
Baking soda is a gritty substance like sandpaper so be careful that you have enough hydrogen peroxide mixed in with the soda because if you don’t it can very well scrub the enamel right off your teeth and enamel does not grow back. The paste should not be gritty at all, and in fact it should be a runnier paste than a stiff paste.
2. Coconut Oil Pulling
Simply put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and swish it between your teeth for 5 to 20 minutes.  Or add a few drops to your toothbrush and simple brush it on, or add the coconut oil to a corner of a clean wash cloth and rub it on.  Also, coconut oil has antimicrobial properties so it’s great for your gums as well.
3. Strawberries
Simply mash up about four or five strawberries and rub this yummy mixture all over your teeth. Rinse well afterwards.

4. Activated charcoal

Activated charcoal pulls toxins from the mouth and removes stains, it can actually be helpful in changing the pH and health of the mouth, and as such is effective in preventing cavities and killing the bad bacteria present in tooth decay and gingivitis. Dip a clean, wet toothbrush into the powdered charcoal (or dump a capsule of charcoal on the toothbrush). Lean over the container of charcoal and quickly put the charcoal covered toothbrush in the mouth (this is to protect your sink). Brush in small, gentle circles for 2 minutes, spit carefully and rinse really well.

5.Turmeric

Turmeric has astringent properties and is also abrasive.  It is most so in its natural root form, but is most widely available dried as a powder, so that’s what we used. You need 2 parts turmeric powder to 1 part coconut oil and 1 part baking soda.  Mix together to form a paste, and keep in a cool place (coconut oil is liquid at around 74-76 degrees). Put a generous amount on the toothbrush and brush as normal for 2 minutes.  Rinse very well with water.

6. Lemon or Orange Peels
There have been reports that lemon and or orange peels will also do the trick of whitening your teeth. These food products are very healthy and good for your stomach but the acid content might eventually wear away the enamel on the teeth. So if you use lemon or orange peel always rinse afterwards to be on the safe side. A good oral mouth rinse is hydrogen peroxide because it keeps breath fresh by eliminating bad breath and also is a very good bacterial agent. Use half water and half hydrogen peroxide, swish around in your mouth and leave in for at least a full minute.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
It has been proven that ACV does work as a natural teeth whitener but you have to be consistent and it takes a least a month of continuous usage to see results. Be careful, as with all acids, it can remove the enamel on your teeth as well. After brushing with ACV, you will need to brush again with regular toothpaste, preferably a non fluoride paste, or rinse your mouth out really well.

Today I'm going to show you how to make an all natural deodorant using simple ingredients.
Everything you'll need is already in your pantry, hmm well I guess...

After a few months of using this incredible deodorant, I decided to share it with you on my blog .
I think that commercial deodorants are dangerous for our health, they're known to cause alzheimer's and breast cancer.

Ingredients  for 230 ml

80 ml  coconut oil (16 Tsp)
60 grams baking soda (12 Tsp)
30 grams cornstarch (6 Tsp)
30 grams alum powder (6 Tsp)
20 to 25 drops of essential oil

Directions

Mix the dry ingredients all together after making sure that they have the same consistency. Mix the liquid coconut oil with the Essential Oil and add it to the dry ingredients and Voila !

You can use any essential oil you want, but first you have to make sure you're not sensitive to it, you can use orange essential for sent, or Rosemary EO for its antiseptic qualities.

Coconut oil will help you have a soft skin, alum powder is a natural bleacher.
I hope you guys will enjoy making this homemade deodorant!

N.B: In the picture you can see two containers, the yellow one is for homemade use, the second one is for travel, it's a space saver container, I carry it with me when I'm travelling.

Tip:
It is better to keep the big container in the fridge and keep the small container for your  daily use. Because the deodorant's odor might change especially during summer.
