All Natural Homemade Body Wash

Commercial body washes contain chemicals that can be harmful to the skin and to the environment since they end up in the rinse water, and therefore, in nature.

I suggest to you this all natural homemade body wash recipe.

 Ingredients:
  • 7 oz (200 grams) Aleppo soap  you can substitute it with Castile bar soap or any other natural soap
  •  35 oz (1 liter) of water
  • 15 drops of lavender essential oil.

Directions :

Start by grating the soap, and mixing it with warm water in a large saucepan over very low heat for about 15 minutes.

Stir until the soap is dissolved. Then add the  lavender essential oil  and let it cool. If the gel seems too thick gel, add some water until you get the consistency you desire.

You can also add:

- 2 tablespoons of glycerin . Glycerin maintains the water content of the skin and makes it smooth and supple. It hydrates the skin while providing smoothness to your body wash.

- 10 drops of grapefruit seed extract. It is a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal preservative known to prolong the lifetime of cosmetics that contain water. It also confers properties against skin conditions.
